Planning Begins Immediately After Confirmation
Once your booking is confirmed, Glenn begins venue research, vendor outreach, document preparation, and ceremony script drafting. For legal weddings, the marriage licence process starts during this stage. For outer island ceremonies, logistics and inter-island travel are coordinated in advance based on your ceremony date.

Certificate Delivery and Apostille if Required
Glenn delivers the signed and certified Bahamas marriage certificate after the ceremony. For couples who need Apostille certification for international recognition in their home country, Glenn processes this through the Bahamian Secretary of State's office and delivers the stamped certificate before departure. What does the 15% maximum planning fee mean?
Each planning tier has a starting base fee (from $2,800 to $7,500) and a maximum cap of 15% of your total wedding spend. The planning fee is whichever figure is higher: the base fee or 15% of the total. This is standard in the destination wedding planning industry.
For example: if the Micro-Wedding base fee is $2,800 and your total wedding spend is $15,000, then 15% of $15,000 equals $2,250, which is below the base fee, so the planning fee is $2,800. If the total spend grows to $25,000, then 15% equals $3,750, which exceeds the base fee, so the planning fee becomes $3,750. The 15% cap ensures Glenn's fee scales proportionally with the complexity and scale of the wedding he is coordinating.
Do I need a wedding planner for a Bahamas destination wedding?
You do not legally need a wedding planner for a Bahamas wedding, but coordinating a legal destination wedding from abroad without local expertise typically leads to higher costs, avoidable mistakes, and unnecessary stress. Is the planning booking fee refundable?
No. All planning tier booking fees are non-refundable. Glenn begins venue research, vendor outreach, and document preparation within days of confirmation. This initial work cannot be reversed if the booking is cancelled.
