One Specialist Handles Your Photographer, Your Ceremony, and Your Licence
Most Bahamas wedding photographers are booked separately from your planner and officiant — three vendors, three contracts, three conversations that must be coordinated on your wedding day. Glenn manages your photographer as an integrated part of your wedding package. The photographer arrives briefed, knows the ceremony timeline, and works within Glenn's overall coordination. You manage one contact.
From Booking to Delivery — Managed as One
Glenn coordinates the photographer, the shooting schedule, and the image delivery as part of the overall wedding package. No separate photography negotiation, no vendor handoff on the day.
Select a Package with Photography
Photography is included in the Romance package ($2,395) and every package above it. Glenn confirms your package and preferred photographer style during the consultation.
Glenn Books and Briefs the Photographer
Glenn selects and confirms a locally based Nassau photographer for your date. The photographer is briefed on your ceremony timeline, venue, and any specific shots requested.
Photography on Ceremony Day
The photographer works within Glenn's overall ceremony coordination. Coverage begins at the ceremony and continues through portraits, typically 30 to 60 minutes after the ceremony concludes.
Edited Images Delivered Online
Professionally edited, high-resolution digital images are delivered via a private online gallery. A one-hour session typically yields 150 to 250 edited images.

Photography in the Bahamas is not difficult to get right, but it is easy to get wrong. The two things that matter most are timing and location. The Caribbean sun at midday is unforgiving — it produces harsh shadows that no amount of editing fully recovers. I schedule every ceremony with the photographer's light requirements in mind: golden hour in the afternoon, or the soft morning window before 10 AM. I have been walking these beaches for 24 years. I know exactly where the light falls, where the shadows sit, and which angles frame the turquoise water correctly. That knowledge is built into how I plan every ceremony with photography included.

Where Glenn Shoots Wedding Photography in Nassau and the Bahamas
Every Bahamas wedding photography location has its own light conditions, crowd patterns, and compositional character. Glenn selects and pre-scouts the specific position at each venue for every ceremony date.
Nuptial Beach, Cable Beach Nassau
Glenn's semi-private beach on Cable Beach. No resort day-guests, no public foot traffic on the ceremony stretch. West-facing for sunset light. Turquoise shallow water that photographs brilliantly at golden hour. Drone photography permitted.
Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island
Cabbage Beach flanks Atlantis with wide white sand and the recognisable Royal Tower backdrop. The Cove pool area offers an elegant, intimate alternative. Glenn coordinates directly with the Atlantis events team for all resort photography.
Four Seasons Ocean Club
The 12th-century Augustinian cloister at the Ocean Club is one of the most photographed wedding settings in the Bahamas. Stone arches, manicured gardens, and a private beach create a setting unmatched anywhere else on Paradise Island.
Baha Mar Resort
The Baha Mar campus offers three distinct photography environments: Rosewood's quiet boutique beach, Grand Hyatt's expansive beachfront, and SLS's contemporary pool terrace overlooking Cable Beach.
Harbour Island, Eleuthera
Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island is one of the most photogenic beaches in the world. Three miles of distinctive pale pink sand and turquoise water. Glenn coordinates all logistics for Harbour Island ceremonies including boat transfers.
Exuma, Out Islands
Sandbar ceremonies in Exuma offer a setting available nowhere else — surrounded by shallow turquoise water on all sides. The swimming pigs of Big Major Cay are an optional photography addition. Glenn manages all transport and coordination.
What Glenn Knows After 24 Years Shooting Bahamas Weddings
Timing Is the Most Important Decision
Golden hour in the Bahamas is earlier than on the US mainland. In peak season (November through April), golden hour begins around 5:30 PM. Glenn schedules every photography ceremony to hit golden hour for the portrait session. Morning sessions before 10 AM are the second best option. Midday sun produces harsh overhead light that no lens fully neutralises.
West-Facing Beaches for Sunset
Not all Nassau beaches face west. Nuptial Beach on Cable Beach faces west-northwest and receives full sunset light. Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island similarly provides sunset framing. When sunset photography is a priority, Glenn selects the venue based on its solar orientation, not just its visual appeal.
Shallow Water for Turquoise Colours
The iconic turquoise colour of Bahamas water requires shallow depth and high sand reflection. Images shot in water less than three feet deep produce the most saturated blues and greens. Glenn positions ceremonies in shallow-water areas wherever possible, and the photographer works at low angles to maximise water colour in backgrounds.
White and Light Colours Photograph Best
Against turquoise water, white and cream attire produces the highest visual contrast. Pale blues, soft yellows, and tropical prints also photograph well. Dark or black formal attire can work with the right post-processing but requires more controlled light conditions. Glenn advises all couples on attire specifically for their venue and time of day.
The Portrait Session Is Separate from the Ceremony
Photography coverage includes the ceremony itself and a dedicated portrait session after the ceremony concludes. For most packages, the portrait session is 30 to 45 minutes. This is when the most iconic individual, couple, and small group images are taken. Glenn builds this into the ceremony schedule automatically.
Drone Adds the Aerial Perspective
Aerial photography from a drone captures the full context of a Nassau beach ceremony — the couple small against the turquoise expanse. Drone photography is available at Nuptial Beach and most outer island venues. Resort drone permissions vary: Glenn manages all resort permit requests as part of resort ceremony coordination.
What Couples Say About Their Bahamas Wedding Photography
Glenn orchestrated a beautiful ceremony for just the two of us. Everything from the flowers to the photography were carefully thought out and well-executed. This is a man who loves his work and it shows.
I contacted Glenn only one week in advance and he made our 25th wedding anniversary a day we will never forget. From the heart on the beach to the beautiful ceremony to the incredible pictures, everything was more than we ever imagined.
The ceremony was perfect, not a single detail missed. Even the music in the car was perfect — the song playing right before I stepped out was our actual wedding song. The vow renewal was beautiful, romantic, so personal and so memorable.

Photography Questions Answered
Professional photography is included in the Romance package ($2,395) and every package above it. Coverage duration by package: Romance, Elegance, Paradise Nassau, Deluxe Nassau, and Nassau Wedding all include one hour of photography. The Eternal Love Nassau ($11,995) includes two hours. The Vow Renewal Plus ($1,495) also includes one hour of photography.
The Sweet Beginning elopement ($1,495) and Vow Renewal Basic ($375) do not include photography, but photography can be added as a standalone service. Ask Glenn about adding photography to any package.
Glenn coordinates experienced, locally based Nassau wedding photographers as part of his all-inclusive wedding packages. These are professional photographers with established Bahamas wedding portfolios — not generalist shooters hired on the day. Glenn manages the photographer booking, timing coordination, location scouting, and delivery on behalf of each couple. No separate vendor negotiations, no coordination gap between photographer and officiant on ceremony day.
For couples who have a specific photographer they wish to work with, Glenn coordinates with that photographer as part of the overall package — he can work alongside photographers the couple brings in independently. Ask Glenn about working with your own photographer.
Golden hour — approximately 45 to 60 minutes before sunset — delivers the most flattering, warm, directional light for outdoor beach photography in Nassau. In peak season, golden hour begins around 5:30 PM. Morning sessions from 8 AM to 10 AM are the second best option, with soft diffused light and minimal crowd activity on Nassau beaches.
Midday sun (11 AM to 3 PM) produces harsh overhead shadows on faces and bleaches colour from the turquoise water, requiring significant post-processing work to manage. Glenn structures ceremony timing to avoid this window for all packages that include photography.
A one-hour photography session at a Glenn Ferguson wedding typically produces 150 to 250 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images, delivered via a private online gallery within approximately three weeks of the ceremony. The two-hour session in the Eternal Love Nassau package ($11,995) typically produces 300 to 500 edited images.
Images are delivered in digital format for print, display, and sharing. Physical prints, albums, and canvas products can be ordered through the gallery system. WhatsApp Glenn about photo delivery options.
Yes. Drone photography is available at Nuptial Beach on Cable Beach and most outer island venues including Exuma sandbar ceremonies and Eleuthera. Aerial shots capture the full context of a Nassau beach ceremony — the couple framed against the turquoise expanse in a way no ground-level angle can replicate.
Resort properties including Atlantis, Baha Mar, and Four Seasons have their own drone permit requirements. Glenn manages all resort coordination on behalf of couples, including drone permit applications where the resort allows external drone operators. Contact Glenn directly to confirm drone availability for your specific venue and date. Ask Glenn about drone photography.
Yes. Additional photography hours can be added to any package that already includes photography. Standalone photography can also be added to packages that do not include it (Sweet Beginning elopement and Vow Renewal Basic). Additional videography coverage is also available as a separate service for any package. Glenn provides current per-hour rates during the booking consultation based on your date, venue, and photographer availability. WhatsApp Glenn to discuss add-ons.
