The Sweet Beginning ($1,495) includes your Licensed Marriage Officer, marriage license processing, flowers, two witnesses, roundtrip transport, and certified certificate. The government licence fee is an additional $120 (paid directly to the Registrar General’s Office). For context, the average US wedding costs over $35,000 and a major resort package typically starts at $8,000+, often excluding the officiant and licence costs.

Your Bahamas marriage certificate carries the official government seal. For countries that require additional authentication, Glenn provides Apostille certification through the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs the formal authentication recognised in 110+ countries party to the 1961 Hague Convention.

The 24-hour clock starts from the time of entry stamped on your passport or immigration card. Glenn schedules your Registrar General’s Office appointment for Day 2 and your ceremony for Day 2 or 3 depending on the processing method. Cruise ship passengers arriving for a one-day port call use priority same-day processing.

Glenn prepares your affidavits of singlehood, schedules your Registrar appointment, and pre-verifies all documents before you travel. Send copies by email in advance and bring originals. Pre-verification is the single most important step in preventing problems on arrival Glenn has been doing this for 24 years and his document review is thorough.

December through February books fastest reserve dates early. May through October (off-season) offers lower accommodation prices and fewer tourists; tropical showers are brief. All ceremonies with Glenn conclude before sunset, as required under the Bahamas Marriage Act, so golden hour lighting is always built into your timeline.

Photography can be added to the Sweet Beginning package or upgraded to longer coverage. Videography is available as an add-on. Glenn works with trusted photographers across all 7 islands he serves. The only additional costs are your flights to Nassau and accommodation both of which you would need for a honeymoon anyway. You get a legal beach ceremony, an experienced Licensed Marriage Officer, flowers, photos, and your marriage certificate, without the average $35,000 US wedding bill. Most couples combine the elopement with their honeymoon for a single trip.

Glenn times every ceremony to conclude before sunset (required under Bahamian law) and builds weather flexibility into the schedule.
