Requirements
- 24-hour residency: Remain in The Bahamas at least 24 hours before applying. Cruise passengers: ship letter required. Cruise weddings.
- Identification: Passports and Bahamas Immigration card or entry stamp.
- Documents:
- Previously married or widowed: divorce decree or death certificate.
- Never married: affidavit of single status (can be sworn locally).
- Birth certificate may be requested by authorities.
- Under 18: parental/guardian written consent.
- Witnesses: Two, age 18+. Local witnesses can be arranged if needed.
- No blood test required.
- Brief registrar interview for most foreign couples.
